Not knowing if these rods are converted from pressed pins or if they are rods that were originally factory full-floating rods, I have two questions:

Press fit pins, of course the pin needs to be free. And hyper eutectic pistons don't expand as much so they don't need to be as tight, so overall, you don't see it as often as in the past.
