The chemical composition of the material in wt.% is reported in Table 1.This steel had 1.0% carbon and 2.5% silicon, and a small amount of nickel (0.2%) was added to this steel because nickel helps in stabilizing the austenite in the microstructure. http://www.scferroalloy.com/
